MADFORWATER, “DevelopMent AnD application of integrated technological and management solutions FOR wasteWATER treatment and efficient reuse in agriculture tailored to the needs of Mediterranean African Countries”, is a research and innovation project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by the University of Bologna. The consortium comprises 18 partners distributed over 6 EU countries, 3 selected Mediterranean African Countries (MACs), Switzerland and China.
The MADFORWATER project aims at producing a relevant and long-term impact in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia in terms of wastewater treatment and reuse, thus improving agricultural production as well as decreasing exploitation of water reserves and water pollution.
