This MIRA Training Seminar will be organized in
Beirut in the second half of November 2012 (dates will be concreted soon). The
aim of this 2-days workshop is to train professionals whom will support the
negotiation and management of FP7 projects in order to get a better
participation in the Programme, prepare them for the changes that the HORIZON
2020 will bring, and also to favor the appearance of project leaders in the
MPC.
The last Management Board Meeting - held in
Casablanca in February 2012 - underlined the need of identifying and training
experts on Legal and Financial Issues in the MPCs in different research
organisations, even as a possible previous step to nominate a National Contact
Point on these issues.
The aim of this workshop is to train
professionals whom will support the negotiation and management of FP7 projects
in order to get a better participation in the Programme, prepare them for the
changes that the HORIZON 2020 will bring, and also to favor the appearance of
project leaders in the MPCs as a consequence of the existance of such a
support. In this aspect, a careful selection of attendants – in the sense of
not including researchers in active but professionals working on projects
management – is important.
